Larry Williams is an artist who lives in a rural village in the Gaspésie region of Eastern Quebec. Far from any art centre, he is inspired by nature and its elements. He has over the past thirty years developed a painting technique where the image is formed on glass and then transferred to canvas. He finds comfort in the arduous process and labour. His images, inspired by nature, can be analytical at times but seek something more parallel both in terms of image and process.
